Floor System

The quality of your flooring has a big impact on the visual appeal of your new home as well as its durability. Quality Homes offers a large selection of vinyl, carpet, laminate, hardwood and ceramic flooring custom options. Heated floors are also optional.

Your standard subfloor and flooring system includes:

SubFloor: 

• Premium kiln dried 2" x 10" floor joists with metal joist hangers and 2" x 2" cross bridging
• 5/8 tongue and groove sheathing glued and screwed

Flooring: 

• Choice of carpet
• Durable cushion vinyl flooring ¼" smooth mahogany under all vinyl
• 3/8" chip underpad under all carpeting
• Cushion vinyl flooring in foyer, bathrooms, laundry & kitchen. All other areas are carpeted
